The Verdun woven t-shirt pattern from Liesl & Co. makes a relaxed-fit pull over T-shirt with dropped shoulders, a flattering shape, a faced hem that is longer in front than in the back, and a scooped neck with facing. View A includes cut-on short sleeves and a front pocket while View B has a V-notched neckline and long sleeves.
Pattern size: sx - xxl
For the small sleeveless version order 2 meters (44" wide), for the medium or large size sleeveless version, order 3 1/4 meter.
Add another half meter of fabric if you are sewing the version with the long sleeves.
Notes: We've made this shirt twice now, see the photographs here. For the darker blue version I pieced together the fabrics first, then used the pattern to cut the front. The pattern is very easy to sew, and it includes separate pattern pieces for different cup sizes, which really helps with getting a good fit. We also shortened the blouse pattern because I'm short (It has easy adjustment lines on the pattern pieces).
I will be making a few more of this pattern in different fabrics and maybe with some sashiko stitching :-)
