Starter Mending Kit for Jeans. This kit contains new remanent scrap fabric cuts in good size irregular shapes with many wide strips. These are suitable for mending longer rips and reinforcing larger areas of worn fabrics, but you can of course cut them for mending holes and small tears.
The kit contains:

100 grams of cotton fabrics for mending jeans, jackets, shirts and household textiles.
- Bohin Jeans needles pack of 12, sizes 5/7 (for thick and thin jeans)
- 1 ball (29 yards) of Valdani 3 strand embroidery thread (use as is or separate into thinner one or 2 strand threads)
- 100 meter card Daruma hand stitching thread
- Little House adjustable metal thimble

Please note: This kit does not contain instructions for how to mend. An excellent book for that is The Mending Directory
Notes: These fabrics are new, colourfast, machine wash and dry. They do not need to be pre-washed. The colours are saturated, deep, and slightly muted which makes co-ordinate with denim blues particularly well. Some pieces are quite long which is helpful for some mending situations.
