Seven Treasures Japanese Print Fabric
$9.00
You may have seen this pattern called by several names, Seven Treasures and Linked circles being the most common among sashiko stitchers.
When I saw this 100% cotton fabric my first thought was to combine it with sashiko stitching and boro. It is an excellent weight for mending jeans and jackets, beautiful with your boro mending or sashiko projects. Also, it's very suitable for bags, cushions, runners, table mats...
- Kokka Fabric manufactured in Japan
- 100% cotton, mid-light weight (4.2 oz. per square yard)
- Width 110 cm
- Wash and dry on low temperatures, remove from dryer promptly
NOTE: This is a printed shibori pattern. You possibly knew that from the price :-) The process of making real tied and dyed shibori fabric would be much more expensive
I've included a photo with my blue jeaned leg because I know you are going to want to try it for mending jeans! Also there is a photo of it with one of the Olympus 12" preprinted fabric samplers so you can see the blue colours together.
