Printed on white cotton with wash away marking, you can open the package and start to stitch immediately. You stitch over the markings with the threads and needle provided, and then wash your finished project to remove the markings.
This makes it a great take along travel project.
- Although the package calls this a dishcloth kit (I think they mean tea towel) it is really a hana-fukin (household cloth) and would be lovely used to cover bowls of fruit, or breads, in the kitchen. You could also make it into a small cushion, or use it in a quilt or on the front of a tote bag.
