This brick red Hitome-zashi sashiko pattern coaster kit is a perfect confident beginner or intermediate stitcher project, or for satisfyingly easy travel or summer relaxation stitching project.
The package contains the Sashiko patterns printed in wash away ink, fine off white Sashiko thread, a Sashiko needle in a protective envelope, and slate grey contrasting fabric to use for backing.
Both the brick red and slate grey fabrics are quality durable medium weight cotton, machine washable and colourfast. The printed markings including the cutting lines will disappear entirely when the fabric is rinsed in water so keep it dry until your stitching is finished.
