I have been making machine cut ready to use (pre-cut) squares and hexis from the Japanese dyed yarn cotton fabrics I have in stock and the machine makes quite a bit of very nice 'scrap' which is suitable for applique, piecing, visible mending, boro stitching, or however you would like to use them. This is a good way to get a larger collection of colours in these fabrics.
The skinny and scrappy bits have all been cut away. These are good value packs.
- 300 grams of scrap dyed yarn cotton fabric per pack (for comparison, one meter of this dyed yarn fabric weights about 175 grams)
- new fabrics only, no bitty pieces
- fabric colours and prints vary from pack to pack but the quality is the same in all of them
- these are the same fabrics I imported from Japan and have in stock
- machine wash and dry, colourfast
- they do not need to be pre-washed
