Visible Mending Basic Kit, Print Fabrics

This kit contains only the basic things you need to mend your woven cotton fabrics in the visible mending style. 

Here is what I chose for the kit and why:

• There is 24+ pieces of fabric about 5" square.These are a light/middle weight cottons suitable for mending your jeans, jackets, work shirts or any good woven garment or household linens.
• 20 meters of off-white Olympus sashiko thread which will show off your stitching.
• And a pack of Olympus sashiko needles. I prefer sashiko needles for mending, especially for thick and denim fabrics because they rarely bend and have large eyes for easy threading of thick threads. Mendings often use use running stitches, which is the same as stitch as sashiko, so that makes sense :-)

These fabrics are colourfast, machine wash and dry, with no noticeable shrink. You don't need to pre-wash. Every pack may contain some different but similar colours. The fabrics are the same.

Notes: I have not included any instructions. Many of you will have seen enough videos on social media not to need any.
