This long staple Egyptian cotton sashiko thread is manufactured in Nagoya, Japan by the Olympus Thread Mfg Co.  Olympus is a decades long manufacturer of quality sashiko threads and kits, as well as traditional style Japanese Kofu fabrics.

Washable and colourfast, this sashiko thread is equally suitable for boro, visible mending, big stitch quilting, wool applique, toy making, free hand stitching and meditative stitching projects.
