Each patch in this kit is a different Katazome resist or block printed design on cotton cloth, hand dyed and printed by skilled artisans using Botanical plant indigo dye.
This is a perfect starter kit for mending your favourite blue jeans, denim jacket, or other mid-weight natural fibre clothing.
Fabric pattern may vary a little from kit to kit but will be similar. The quality and fabrics will be the same as shown here.
This kit contains
- 7 fabric pieces in varying in size, roughly 5" x 5"
- 20 meters of Olympus sashiko thread
- Olympus sashiko needle
Because the dying has been done by skilled artisans their fade down will be slow and beautiful in the way that natural plant indigo dye is famous for.
