Hand dyed Valdani Perle Cotton threads are loved by so many of us for the depth of colour and softer texture of the thread. These long staple hand-dyed Egyptian cotton threads have a soft sheen and gentle colour transitions.

Valdani threads may have a bit of variation between dye lots because they are hand dyed. Valdani threads are less tightly wrapped into balls than other perle cottons. This can make them a bit messier but is worth it because it protects the cotton fibres from being stretched and crushed.
Size 5 is the thick weight perle cotton (Size 8 is medium and size 12 is thin).
This thread is suitable for hand stitching, mending, hand quilting, applique, embroidery, crochet, wool applique, punchneedle, fringe and tassel making.
